I found this excellent resource for unsigned bands. Musicshredder.com will review your album and give an audio interview. Also, they give the option of allowing the band to put a sample of their music on the website. So, if you subscribe to Rhapsody.com then you can listen to the whole album, uninterrupted.

It makes me want to dust off my kazoo and reformed my old band, "Gold Mendelian."
